Arrival & Departure

When is check-in and check-out?

The check-in time is from 15:00 and the check-out time is until 12:00.

If you expect to check in later than 00:00, then please let us know.  We can hold the room for you until you arrive.

Our team is available 24/7, so there is always someone to assist you.

Can I have an early check-in?

Early check-in is based on availability and can only be determined on the day itself. 

If you want certainty, you can book the night before with a note that it is an early check-in.

Is it possible to have a late check-out?

This depends on the availability of the rooms, which can only be determined on the day itself.

If it is available, the fee is 15 euro per hour.  

Is there a luggage storage available?

Yes, there is! You can leave your luggage with us before you check in or after you check out on the same day.

Can I park my car at the hotel?

The hotel has no private parking space on site. We'll tell you everything you need to know about parking on this page.

Transportation

Can you arrange transport from or to the airport?

We do not offer a complimentary shuttle service to the airport, but we can arrange a taxi at a fixed rate.

 

From the airport to the hotel:

You can send us an email or Whatsapp message with your name, mobile number and flight number. 

The taxi company will contact you 1 day before your arrival. 

Costs are between 55 - 65 euro depending on the size of the vehicle.

 

From the hotel to the airport:

Our front desk staff can book the taxi in advance or right away. 

Costs are between 45 - 55 euro depending on the size of the vehicle.

How can I get to the hotel by public transport?

From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport:   Take the train to the station Amsterdam Zuid. Transfer to tram 5 (Jordaan) and get off at Gerrit van der Veenstraat (3 stops). 

From Amsterdam Central Station:   Take tram 5 (Amstelveen Stadshart) and get off at Gerrit van der Veenstraat (10 stops). 

From the stop Gerrit van der Veenstraat, walk to the Apollolaan 105.

Do you sell public transport tickets?

We offer tickets for the metro, tram and bus, but not the train. 

You can purchase it at our reception desk:

  • 24 hrs ticket - 9 euro
  • 48 hrs ticket - 15 euro
  • 72 hrs ticket - 21 euro 

Can I rent a bike?

Yes, you can! Please feel free to ask our reception staff.

  • Per day (24 hrs)  18 euro
  • Deposit 50 euro

Food & Drinks

Do you offer breakfast and at what time?

Yes, we offer a delicious breakfast buffet. 

If it's not already packaged in your room rate, it's 19,50 euro per person.  

It's ready for you between 7:00 and 10:30 in the lounge.

Do you have coffee and tea facilities?

There is a kettle for tea and coffee in the room and an excellent coffee machine in our lounge.

This is free and you are more than welcome to help yourself!

Can I eat lunch or dinner at your hotel?

Unfortunately our hotel does not offer lunch or diner. 

However, we do offer snacks and drinks in our lounge until 23:00.

Payment

How much is the city tax?

The city tax is 12.5% ​​per room and not included in the room rate.

 

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept Mastercard, Visa and Amex.

Please note that we are obligated to cancel your reservation if we do not receive a valid credit card as a guarantee. 

At the hotel you can also pay by debit card.

Do we have to pay a deposit?

Yes, we ask a deposit of 30 euro per night. 

Usually it's provided with a credit card authorisation which is used to pay the outstanding costs when you check out.

Rooms

What are the room facilities?

Every room is equipped with air-conditioning, a shower or bath, hairdryer, safe, kettle for coffee and tea, free Wi-Fi and television. 

An iron and board are available upon request. 

Are the rooms air conditioned or heated?

All the rooms have airconditioning that you can set yourself. Please note, it is only for cooling down.

The central heating is used to heat the room, which you can operate with the rotary knob on the radiator.

Is an extra bed in the room possible?

In some of the larger rooms an extra folding bed can be added, however this is always on request and need to be confirmed by email first. 

The extra charge is 40 euros plus 4,59 euro city tax.

Can you accommodate children?

Yes, of course! Children of all ages are welcome. 

For children up to three years, we offer baby cots upon request (plus confirmation). 

Please note that the smaller room types do not have space for a baby cot.

Children up to 8 years old are free of charge when the existing bed is used (except the Single Room).

Is this a non-smoking hotel?

All guest rooms (including the balconies) and public spaces are 100% non-smoking. Smoking outside is only allowed in front of the entrance of the hotel.

Reservations

What are the benefits of booking my reservation directly through the website?

You can save on your stay by booking directly with us! 

  • By booking through our website, you get a 5% discount on the best available rate!
  • The cancellation conditions are better, 24 hrs before arrival instead of the usual 39 hrs with OTA's.
  • We're more flexible with changes, just contact us in time!

How do I cancel my reservation?

This depends on your reservation. We have two types of rates: flexible and non-refundable. 

If you book with a flexible rate, you can cancel your reservation free of charge until 24 hours before arrival! Cancellations after this time will be charged. You can easily manage this through the link in your confirmation email.

If you book with a non-refundable rate, you are not able to cancel your stay and you will be charged for 100% of the costs.

If you made your booking through an OTA like Booking.com, Expedia etc., we won't be able to interfere. Please contact them directly.

How do I change my reservation?

The link in your confirmation email can only be used for cancellation, not amendment. 

You can contact us, if you want to make a change in your reservation.

To avoid late cancellation costs, we advise you to contact us at least 24 hours prior to the arrival date.

Another way is to cancel your current reservation and make a new one. 

Keep in mind that neither the availability nor the rate can be guaranteed in case of changes.

What is the minimum age to make a reservation?

The minimum age to book a room is 18 years, with at least one person aged 18 or older required to stay in the room.

How do I make a group booking?

If you wish to make a booking for more than 5 rooms, please send an email to groups@delphihotel.nl .
